After canceling their 2020 headline tour due to COVID, we worked with Moontower to develop an alternative to the live music experience. We reached out to our production partner Eastside LED and visual designer Nicole Blue to build worlds for each song blending the line between digital and physical production. The film laid the groundwork to produce a four-night virtual tour for Moontower fans, with each show featuring unique stage production.
Due to new production safety regulations, the show was automated wherever possible to minimize the onsite crew. We worked closely with the band to integrate our custom live lighting and visual system with their on-stage equipment. After production, we handled everything from editing to color to titles to delivery.

What Day Is It is a 15-minute live performance film for electro-pop trio Moontower, featuring unreleased songs from their forthcoming EP. Each song's visual identity is ever-evolving, showing viewers the ambiguity of dusk and dawn, and leaving them feeling lost in time.
